Post menopausal & recently diagnosed with Inclusion Body Myositis. I want to slow or stop this disease from progressing. I want to get healthier, lose excess fat, build lean muscle, gain strength & fix my hormones naturally.

I live 100m walk from Aldi and noticed they sell grade 2 (70/30) beef mince. I decided to bite the bullet after 2 months of thinking about it (I usually buy 80/20 - regular - grade 3 mince) and buy some to make smash burgers. OMG, how much juicier & tasty these patties are is unbelievable. I will be sticking with the grade 2 mince moving forward.

Inflammation flareups when healing? I ask because I have had sinus pain, sleep issues, and joint pain, whether I sit or stand. I am also retaining a lot of fluid. This has all been going on for the last 2-3 weeks. I get enough electrolytes, and add extra salt to each bottle of water I consume.

My body fat is still shrinking slowly though :-)

Hey Rina, I see in the events tab that some of the July Wednesday meetings are set for 7am AEST. Is this correct? If so, great, it means I can join in again. I have missed not being able to participate in live meetings & have fallen off the wagon somewhat.

Day 23 on Lion,
Non-scale victories: - My BMI is down 3.1 points, 4.5cm loss on waist. Tinnitus is still there, but at half volume. Bloating and indigestion gone. Skin is softer/smoother. More energy, less angry/moody. Higher mood. Clothes looser everywhere. Nails are harder.
