and verbal. She is on hospice care, but we cannot grieve a life well lived. She's been in 100+ countries, walked the Great Wall of China, climbed Ayres rock in the 80's, visited Victoria falls and Niagara falls, toured Alaska by rail, broughs Bibles to Iraq during the war, followed the migrant farmers in California to share their labor and bring them hope, ridden camels in the Middle East, ridden elephants in Africa, saw the Berlin Wall after it fell, and experienced cultures around the globe. She has also counseled with many as a licensed psychologist , and as a missionary, has led hundreds to salvation through Jesus. She has survived hurricane Carla while living off the coast of Galveston, a bite from the tsetse fly in Africa, and a near escape of a poisonous snake in India. She has made 49 quilts, knit countless sweaters and baby blankets. Most importantly, she has loved and prayed for her 5 children, 11 grandchildren, and 16 great-grandchildren through three generations. She will be dearly missed and fondly remembered when God calls her to heaven in the next few days.
