Reverse sear again... super thick grass fed ribeye, cut to show cook temp. This one is a bit more rare than usual for me, but it's still great! Use this method for thick cuts to cook to YOUR preferred temp.

We like our steaks thick AND rare to med rare... but we don't grill outdoors. I use the "reverse sear" method to cook to a perfect temp. Just search the web for tips. This 2 lb cowboy cut ribeye was cooked to perfection! Hickory smoked salt gives it that grilled flavor. πŸ˜‹

Tri-tip, easy oven recipe... season meat liberally with smoked salt (I like cherry for this one), place in baking dish with pats of butter on top. Roast uncovered at 350Β° for 1 hour. Then add one cup broth, cover, and reduce temp to 275Β°. Roast another 2.5-3 hours. Remove from pan to slice, and serve with au jus. πŸ˜‹

On fasting.... I'm aiming for 16/8, hoping to slowly shift the window a bit earlier in the day. ATM, it will be noon-8:00. Question is about my using exogenous ketones... ok during the fasting window? Or no? Thx!

Last week we discussed how much salt daily, that being 5 grams. Hard to measure when sprinkling, so do an experiment. 5 g of Redmonds is roughly 1 tsp. Try using a dish with that amount to season your food.... see how you do. ☺️
