Day 1 at Go Carnivore. I’ve been leaning in and learning over the past week. Reading and listening to Dr Sawn Baker. Today I was up at 3am to travel interstate. Hectic day in high heat and humidity. Feeling a bit dizzy - likely hungry - I got a table outside at ‘beef and bar’. Ordered scotch fillet 300g. Sides? No thank you. Sauce? No thank you.
Thank you both. I had such mixed feelings about ordering only scotch fillet but overall it was an exhilarating and courageous experience. The power of social constructions and conditioning about how we should eat is profound.
