Hi Rina— I want to thank you for all your support and help on my carnivore journey. I’m going to opt out of my premium membership at this time so please do not resubscribe me. Improvement of health via carnivore is fascinating and I am so grateful. Barbara Hanawalt

I have a meeting suggestion. Carnivore issues for those over 70. Examples—disk shrinkage reduces blood flow to major organs due to pressure from shortened height. How does carnivore affect that? Carnivore beyond the post menopausal ages. Less insulin production due to age. Kidney health. Geriatric issues. Unwinding over 70 years of SAD eating.

Dr Bright’s answers, ultimately, are to eat more fat. Whenever I try to bump up my fat consumption, I go through a period of time of not being able to digest the fat. I have been working on this very slowly for over a year. Not quite up to the needed amount yet relative to protein, but we’re getting there. How do other people get fat adapted?

I’d like any information on how doxycycline interacts with carnivore diet. I get mild stomach upset and diarrhea from the low dose doxycycline (40 mg per day) but my eyes feel much better. and facial skin feels better too. I don’t want to lose the benefits of carnivore though.

Recently started taking doxycycline for skin and ocular rosacea. After just a few days it’s already helping. Unpleasant diarrhea and tummy upset side effects. How do rosacea and carnivore diet intersect?
