Ingredients
bacon: 8 slice
ground beef 80/20: 500 g
sausage: 500 g
egg: 2
butter: 0.5 teaspoon
salt: 1 teaspoon
pepper: 1 teaspoon
Steps
1.Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
2.Heat a pan over medium heat.
3.Slice the sausage and cook in the pan for about 6 minutes.
4.Grease a baking dish with butter.
5.In a bowl, combine the ground beef, cooked sausage, eggs, salt, and pepper. Mix thoroughly by hand.
6.Add the mixture to the greased baking dish and shape it into a 10 x 5 inch loaf.
7.Lay the bacon slices over the top of the loaf, letting them hang slightly over the sides. Tuck the ends underneath but do not wrap completely under the loaf.
8.Place the dish in the oven and bake for 45 minutes.
9.Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.
